Sandwich Isles Broadband Services is excited to announce it will be performing upgrades in configuration and equipment scheduled for 5/31/07. As part of the upgrade, pixi.com email addresses will change to sandwichisles.net addresses. If your email address is currently JohnDoe@pixi.com, your new address will be JohnDoe@sandwichisles.net
Please follow this guide to upgrade your pixi.com email account to sandwichisles.net. After the upgrade you will enjoy increased email storage space, additional email and spam controls, and an improved webmail interface when accessing your email remotely.
These changes can be made on your computer as soon as 5/31/07. Your current pixi.com email accounts will be available until 6/30/07, after which time you will need to update your account to sandwichisles.net to avoid interruption in service. Please inform any contacts of your new email address, as forwarding from your pixi address will only occur for a limited time.

The above settings are provided for your information; most customers will only need to update their email settings using the included guide.
If you are using Microsoft Outlook Express to access your email please follow the step-by-step instructions provided for your convenience. If you are using an email application other than Microsoft Outlook Express, or if you need further assistance, please contact our Internet Helpdesk at 1-877-808-4SIC (1-877-808-4742) and a representative will be happy to assist you.
With Outlook Express open, click on the Tools menu then on Accounts.
From the Internet Accounts window, select your mail account (likely named mail.pixi.com), and click Properties.
The General tab screen will display as shown below.
Update the Mail Account and E-mail address to the new information as shown below.
After being updated, your settings should look similar to the following image.
Next, click on the Servers tab and edit the information in the Incoming mail, Outgoing mail, and Account name fields
After being updated, your settings should look similar to the following image.
When finished, click OK.
After all settings have been updated click on Close.
